Federal funding to help vulnerable Americans in danger of getting cut

Federal money for programs and services that help millions of vulnerable Americans and employ many AFSCME members could be in jeopardy next year.

1. 2013 Labor Management Meeting Schedule All 2013 Labor Management meetings will be held the 3rd Thursday of each month starting February 21st at 12:30pm in the Administration Building. The meeting room will remain reserved for AFSCME at 11am.

1. Light Duty Coordination: Elizabeth Blomberg, HR will act as the SOFS coordinator for light duty assignments related to both work and non-work related injuries. Elizabeth will also act as the liaison to the work comp and leave management staff regarding these light duty assignments.

1. Tomlinson Pool Update The decision was made to close the Tomlinson Pool. At this time the cost to repair and maintain is far too expensive. An email was sent out to all staff to inform them of the news.
