We are a union of nearly 900 members representing workers within the St. Peter Regional Treatment Center, including the Minnesota Security Hospital (MSH), Minnesota Sex Offender Program (MSOP), Competency Restoration Program (CRP), Forensic Transition Services, and the Forensic Nursing Home. We also represent workers at the Community Addiction Recovery Enterprise (CARE) facility in St. Peter and the Community Behavioral Health Hospital (CBHH) in Rochester. We fight for dignity and respect in the workplace with better wages, better benefits, and better working conditions.
Despite high levels of stress on the job, many state and local workers say they highly value serving the public and their communities and feel generally satisfied with their jobs.
